APAC Clinical Case Competition – Application Process

Immediacy – Immediate Placement & Restoration
We invite clinicians to submit cases that highlight the benefits, challenges, and clinical outcomes of immediate implant placement and restoration. The theme encourages showcasing innovative approaches and best practices in achieving predictable results with immediacy protocols.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Open to clinicians practicing in countries from the APAC (Asia-Pacific) region*
  • Each clinician may submit one case only.
  • If the clinical case was done by a team of clinicians, only 1 clinician (the one submitting the case) can claim any potential award. The whole team must be acknowledged on the case template.
  • The case must feature Nobel Biocare products, regardless of indication.

Submission Requirements

  • The case documentation, with the exception of the patient consent form (available in other languages), must be submitted in English.
  • Use the provided clinical case template found below on this webpage for creating your clinical case. You can only submit your clinical case in a PPT or PDF format in the webform below
  • Use the provided patient consent form template found below on this webpage, select the template in your preferred language, and submit your signed patient consent form in the webform below either as a Word, PDF, or photo document (scan)
  • Regarding the clinical case itself, using the provided template please include, as much as possible:
    • Step-by-step clinical documentation from initial diagnosis to final restoration.
    • High-quality clinical photographs are essential to demonstrate technique and outcomes.
    • Longer follow-up periods are encouraged to showcase long-term success.
  • On top of the clinical case and the patient consent form, you also have to submit in the webform below a 2-3 min video recording of yourself in English. Use this video to introduce yourself and present your motivation for participating in this case competition (videos longer than 2-3 mins will not be accepted).

  • Submission Deadline: January 31, 2026
  • Winners Announced: March, 2026
  • Award Ceremony: April 28, 2026, during the beFOR Symposium in Bangkok

Review Process

  • All submissions will be pre-screened by the FOR Science Council.
  • The top 10 cases will be evaluated by an international panel of expert judges. The clinicians who prepared and submitted the cases will be asked to present their cases to the judges in an online Top 10 Finalists Review call (to be scheduled in February, 2026)
  • Cases will be assessed based on clinical relevance, innovation, and quality of documentation

Awards

  • Top 3 winners will be invited to Bangkok (travel and accommodation paid)* in order to receive their awards on stage
  • The 1st place winner will present their case during the beFOR Symposium

IMPORTANT: Please do not add any identifying marks, i.e. your name or clinic name or anything that could identify you as a clinician, your team, or your clinic in your clinic case. All cases are going to be reviewed "blinded" so that the panel of jury members are not biased. The 2-3 min video will only be reviewed for the top 10 finalists in order to keep bias out of the pre-review stage and maintain anonymity of the cases in this first review step of the selection process.
