Edith Groenendijk
Biography
Edith Groenendijk DMD MSc graduated in Dentistry at the Radboud University in 1989. While working in her private clinic, she completed a 3-year Post-Graduated Academic Education (1998-2000), specialized in Oral Implantology at the Academic Centre for Dentistry in Amsterdam (ACTA) and became Master of Science in Oral Implantology. In 2001 she started a private clinic for Implantology & Restorative Dentistry in The Hague. She received European recognition in Oral Implantology and was awarded with the European Association of Osseointegration (EAO) Certificate in Implant based Therapy in 2016. Her clinical and research interests focus on a new flapless immediate implant placement and provisionalization protocol (FIIPP), published in the International Journal of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery and Clinical Implant Dentistry and Related Research. Edith Groenendijk is a well-known speaker and educator on the topic of Flapless Immediate Implant Placement and Provisionalization worldwide.
