Susan Tanner
経歴
Specialist Prosthodontist
Dr Susan Tanner has been at the forefront of restoration of the dental implant since
the early 1990s, using implant components from Nobel Pharma at the time, through
all the changes in development to Nobel Biocare today. She is a Specialist
Prosthodontist, working in the largest Central London multidisciplinary, specialist
dental practice, which she founded alongside her partner in 1992.
As well as all facets of dental implant restoration, Susan is highly experienced in the
prosthetic aspects of the implant retained full arch restoration, enjoying the more
complex cases such as patients with atrophic alveolar ridges, and rehabilitation
following maxillofacial reconstruction for cancer and trauma surgery. The ability to
literally change a person’s life for the better by giving them fixed teeth is an absolute
pleasure for her in her daily practice.
Susan teaches courses in communication and basic dental implant dentistry to
undergraduate dental students, postgraduate masterclasses in dental implant
restoration, and she lectures worldwide on topics on biological and mechanical
aspects of the design of the restoration. She is widely published.
Susan is a proponent of The Foundation of Oral Rehabilitation, FOR.ORG. She is a
member of The FOR Education Council and The FOR Board of Trustees.
