Leon Pariente

Biography

Dr. Pariente earned his DDS degree from the University of Paris René Descartes in 2009. He enrolled at New York University College of Dentistry in the advanced program for international dentists in implant dentistry, graduating in 2012). After returning to Paris, his private practice is limited to implantology and periodontology. He is also a part-time faculty member in the implant department at the University Paris V. He coauthored several international and national publications on implant dentistry and is currently involved in several research projects at the University of Paris René Descartes on immediate implant placement and sinus lift procedures.

Early implant placement following single tooth extraction in the esthetic zone

A 35-year-old male patient with hopeless tooth #12 FDI (#7 US) had to be extracted. The implant was placed with the early loading approach combined with a GBR procedure to restore the missing buccal bone wall.
