Alberto Monje

Biography

Dr. Monje earned his DDS in 2011 from the European University of Madrid, Spain and then moved to The University of Michigan to start his research career
as a clinical post-doc. Currently, he is a senior resident and research fellow at the Department of Periodontics and Oral Medicine.
Dr. Monje is author/co-author of more than 70 peer-review publications, contributed to numerous book chapters and international oral presentations and lectures. His majors are implant dentistry, guided bone regeneration, dental imaging and evidence-based dentistry. Moreover, he is member of many professional organizations and serves as referee and editorial committee member for many highly impact journals in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry.
