Join us for “Zygoma: From fundamental concepts to practical application,” a comprehensive course led by Dr. Ruben Davo and Dr. Alexandra Marques. This three-day event covers everything from the history and anatomical considerations of zygomatic implants to advanced techniques and practical applications. You’ll explore various implant approaches, including intrasinus, sinus slot, and extrasinus techniques, as well as alternative graftless methods like transnasal and pterigopalatine implants. The course includes hands-on sessions with 3D models and cadavers, live surgery observations, and digital workflow integration. You’ll also learn about prosthesis design, facial aesthetics, and navigation technology for precision placement, with a focus on avoiding complications. This course ensures you gain the skills and knowledge to effectively apply zygomatic implant techniques in your practice.

Speakers

Dr. Rubén Davó is one of the most renowned zygomatic implant experts around the world and an international reference specialist in regard to complex oral implantology.

Dr. Davó received MD, MSc, PhD and MFS degrees during his formal training and education. He is currently the Director of Instituto Davó at the International Hospital Medimar in Alicante where he serves as Chief of the Oral, Maxillofacial and Implant Surgery Department.

He has focused his patient care on dentofacial deformities, guided surgery, rehabilitation of patients with atrophied bones and quality of life issues. He is a member of the faculty at the Barcelona University Hospital.

He lectures worldwide and provides international educational courses and programs at Instituto Davó. His PhD dissertation focused on “Immediate function in atrophic maxilla using zygomatic implants.”
Dr Alexandra Marques is a doctoral student and a master’s degree holder in endodontics and surgery/apical surgery at the Universidad Internacional Catalunya (UIC). She also holds a master’s degree in implantology and postgraduate diplomas in advanced surgery and maxillofacial osteogenic distraction, and in dental esthetics and esthetic injectables. She has participated as a guest speaker at numerous national and international events and has published scientific and press articles on implantology, endodontics and esthetics.
