Simon Kold

Biography

Dr. Kold received his dental degree from the Department of Dentistry at the University of Aarhus, Denmark in 2001. In 2006 Dr. Kold became the co-owner of Herning Implant Center together with his wife, Louise Kold. Herning Implant Center is a referral clinic for surgery and fixed oral rehabilitation in Herning, Denmark. Dr. Kold lectures worldwide in the fields of CAD/CAM dentistry and implantology. Dr. Kold has lectured at international conferences in the field of intra-oral surface scans, guided surgery, immediate implant placement and simplified implant procedures. Since 2011 Dr. Kold has been beta-testing innovative techniques and products by introducing intra-oral surface scans into fixed oral rehabilitation. Dr. Kold currently focuses clinically on guided surgery and navigation technology based on the combination of Intra-oral surface scans and CBCT. He is testing innovative digital workflows to simplify patient-driven implant procedures.
