Biography

Dr Danesh-Meyer completed his Bachelors Degree in Dental Surgery and Masters in Degree in Periodontology (with Distinction) from University of Otago, New Zealand. He was a Senior Clinical Lecturer at University of Otago and in full-time private practice limited to dental implants and periodontics prior to taking up a position as Clinical Assistant Professor in Periodontology at Temple University in Philadelphia from 1998-2000. He has been involved in preclinical and clinical research involving GTR/GBR, rhBMP-2 & dental implants and authored numerous articles and lectured both nationally and internationally on these subjects. In 2000 he established the Institute of Dental Implants & Periodontics and the Auckland Clinical Training Centre in Auckland, New Zealand. Dr Danesh-Meyer is a Member of the Royal Australiasian Collage of Dental Surgeons, Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists,, Lectures for gIDE/LLU Masters program and is actively involved in teaching periodontics and implant dentistry.
