Can I have excess blocks of material removed from my dentures? My speech is horrible for the last 1 1/2 years.

Hello. I had the all on 4 procedure done 1 1/2 years ago. I am disappointed with the outcome because there is a big area of excess material behind the anterior curvature of the upper and lower arches. My speech is terrible especially words with Ss and th sounds. I don't understand why I have to have so much material in block formation. Is there any way to correct this problem. Thank you.
