Implant supported full arch rehabilitation involves a multidisciplinary approach. Bone quality and quantity, esthetics, biomechanics and interocclusal space are among the many other factors that should be taken into consideration. This presentation will show the advantages of 3D imaging software for diagnosis and treatment planning of edentulous patients compared to conventional 2D planning and how digital planning increases team collaboration between the surgical, prosthetic and technician team. We will see how full arch rehabilitation benefits from a guided surgery approach and how this protocol helps the fabrication and delivery of the transitional prosthesis in edentulous patients.
Dr. Ricardo Peniche obtained a master's degree in oral rehabilitation and implantology at Finis Terrae University in Santiago de Chile. He currently coordinates an implantology training program for postgraduates at Anahuac Mayab University in México. Dr. Peniche is an international speaker for digital implantology and rehabilitation in edentulous patients and maintains a private practice focused on implantology.
