Peter Moy: When to graft vs when to use alternative treatments for the edentulous case

The lecture presents an overview over the management of the edentulous arch focusing on minimally invasive options, like selection of narrow, short and zygomatic implants, the tilted placement of implants and the All-on-4 technique, and comparing these solutions with grafting materials and techniques. Dr Moy covers aspects of 2D and 3D diagnostics, guided and non-guided surgery, number and position of implants and restoration design. Highlighting with a clinical video, Dr Moy explains the guided surgery approach in an All-on-4 case and concludes that the least invasive and guided surgical approach is the most efficacious, and that it is important, that the selected technique fits the patient's needs, demands and expectations.
