Patrick Rutten: Implant esthetics in the digital age. When straight is not good enough, FCZ implant crown and ASC

This presentation will deliver all the need-to-know information when treating with the angulated screw channel abutment (ASC) and full contour zirconia (FCZ) concepts. The lecturer will focus particularly on questions that may arise in such cases; Should we choose the full contour crowns given their immense strength to eliminate chipping? How can we combine the ASC and FCZ to become even more predictable in single crown restorations? When and how to select the right FCZ product designed to support an optimal function in the posterior when a single implant is the treatment of choice?  What best practices can be shared to support the end esthetic result? The presenter will attempt to answer these questions and more by discussing several patient cases when these products have been used to support the outcomes of the restorative end result over time. 

Luc and Patrick Rutten graduated in dental technology at the Dental Technician School Anneessens in Brussels/Belgium. After receiving their degree they moved to Cologne in Germany to specialize in different milling techniques and ceramic layering techniques. They lectured regularly all over Europe, in Australia, India, Israel, Japan, Saudi Arabia, South Africa and the United States. In addition to regular and numerous publications in international dental journals in the field of esthetic implantology and esthetics in general, the brothers are coauthors of several text books and authored the books Implant Esthetics and C, B and I: The Art of Harmony.
