- Software based planning is a great tool for edentulous and partially edentulous cases
- New York 2013 symposium presentation
The lecture reviews basics of X-ray diagnostics and CBCT scans and how the diagnostic capabilities of software based treatment planning can assist clinicians in their daily practice. CBCT scans cannot be done on a routine basis, however if a scan is done for implant treatment purposes, Dr Hugo encourages to get the most diagnostic information out of it, e.g. in periodontal, endodontic, other diagnostic and antomical aspects. Presenting clinical examples, Dr Hugo reviews the digital treatment workflow step by step and discusses pros and cons of cement- and screw retained restoration designs. Dr Hugo concludes that NobelClinician is a great tool for visualization of DICOM data not only for edentulous but also partially edentulous cases.
