Joseph Kan: Immediate placement and immediate provisionalization in the esthetic zone (Part 1)

The lecture discusses immediate implant placement and immediate provisionalization and how these procedures affect soft tissue condition around single anterior implants, and supported by clinical cases and literature data, reviews the differences between immediate and delayed implant placement. Dr Kan concludes that immediate placement is more technique sensitive than delayed placement, and gives detailed insight in important parameters such as biotype and tissue thickness, bone quality and condition, implant position, implant diameter selection, and prosthetic emergence.
