In the first part of this webinar series, Prof. Dr. Tomas Albrektsson reviews the different types of implant surfaces. He presents the first implant surface and explains how this implant surface was continuously adapted. Following that, he shows the clinical data of the three most documented implant surfaces, that have been available from 2000 onwards. Prof. Albrektsson concludes the overview with the newest surfaces available for implants and abutments.
After his presentation, Prof. Albrektsson discusses key points of the research data and the clinical impact with the moderator of the webinar series, Dr. Nikola Vasilic.
