Gerard Chiche: Esthetic parameters to achieve esthetic excellence
Video highlights
- Parameters for esthetics
- The esthetic checklist for implant restorations, step by step
- An esthetic-occlusal systematic approach
- Review of full ceramic framework and connector size design
- New York 2013 symposium presentation
The presentation gives a close look at a systematic approach, how to plan implant restorations step by step, from an esthetic perspective. It is an esthetic-occlusal system and applied in a way that the interdisciplinary team has a common ground. Supported by several clinical treatment examples, Dr Chiche presents the esthetic checklist of this systematic approach reviewing aspects of incisal length and profile, determination of proportions, assessment of gingival levels, providing canine protection and moderate guidance, and a checklist for selection of the implant site. Dr Chiche covers aspects of soft tissue management and profile, and full ceramic restoration design parameters such as connector sizes and framework materials. Dr Chiche summarizes that is important to look at an implant restoration from an esthetic and a functional perspective.
