Gabor Tepper: Predictability of clinical outcomes. How to work with the limits.

Immediate implant placement and Function have become highly demanded treatment protocols, as they offer multiple advantages to both patients and practitioners. Amongst others, shorter time to teeth leads to higher levels of patient satisfaction, which can in turn drive more referrals of advanced cases from both patients and general practitioners.

This lecture focuses on the paradigm shift from delayed protocols to the more contemporary immediate protocols, which broadens the spectrum of dental implant treatment for the benefit of the patient.

Prof. Dr. Gabor Tepper is one of the leading specialists in Austria in the field of Implant Surgery, Implant Prosthodontics, and Oral Surgery and holds degrees in both medicine and dental medicine. After graduating from Vienna Medical School with the highest possible score, he was awarded the Prize of the President of the Republic for outstanding achievements (Promotio sub auspiciis presidentis rei publicae) before enrolling in his postgraduate training at University of California–Los Angeles (UCLA). He has published dozens of peer-reviewed scientific research articles in various European and American journals on topics related to oral implants and holds a teaching post for postgraduate education at the Department of Oral Surgery at the Gottlieb-Bernhard University Clinic of the MUW (Vienna Medical University). He lectures nationally and internationally at conferences and functions as a global speaker for companies in the implant industry; to date he has given more than 250 lectures and won more than 12 national and international prizes and awards.
