The lecture reviews the treatment plan and workflow for fixed prosthetic restorations of edentulous arches. The diagnostic planning before the implant surgery can be tested e.g. with provisional diagnostic dentures. Highlighting with a patient case, Dr Euwe explains how a screw-retained provisional is used to guide and condition the soft tissue. Once tissue stability around the provisional has been achieved, this 3D soft tissue information is transferred to the lab, so that the final restoration has the identical emergence profile and provides predictable soft tissue support. Final restoration is a overdenture with milled bar in the mandible, and a screw-retained NobelProcera implant supported bridge in the maxilla.
