The aim of the presentation will be to demonstrate how contemporary prosthodontic treatment options can simplify the surgical procedure for our patients, yet still allow us to achieve a successful treatment outcome. Knowledge of what restorative options are available are a critical part of the treatment planning process, and may help to eliminate the need for complex bone grafting or augmentation, as well as to ensure long-term success.
Different restorative options available are discussed. It is important to be aware of what is prosthodontically achievable, and to plan the surgery accordingly. Ultimately, we wish to keep things simple where possible, but without compromising the end result.
