- Good esthetic, functional and biologic results
- New York 2013 symposium presentation
The All-on-4® treatment concept can be combined with a guided surgical protocol. Looking back on experiences with these techniques since 2005, Dr Lopes reviews the advantages of these protocols for patient and surgeon, such as comfort, reduced surgery time and increased predicability and safety. Dr Lopes discusses possible limitations in case of e.g. simultaneous extractions, soft tissue manipulations and flap procedures, and limited mouth openings and presents evolutionary techniques how to overcome the original limitiations with changes of the protocols. Dr Lopes reviews several patient treatment examples and a step-by-step procedure, incl the laboratory steps, in a high smile line/gummy smile situation, and summarizes that these techniques provide good esthetic, functional and biologic results.
