Video highlights

- Nobel Biocare New York Symposium 2016
For more than a decade zirconia has become a preferred restoration material. A layered zirconia restoration combines the highest esthetics with strength and biocompatibility in the mouth. However, the opacity of the zirconia material is such that it may present some esthetic challenges. Recent material improvements, such as an increase in the translucency and the capability of matching to the Vita Shade guide, have resulted in consistent, outstanding esthetics. To provide strength and exceptional esthetics, selection of methods and materials can be overwhelming.
This lecture will discuss how to best select the appropriate zirconia material for different clinical situations.
