Maxillary central incisor all-ceramic crown
A 23-year-old patient presented herself with a traumatically injured maxillary central incisor. The tooth had been bonded multiple times unsuccessfully with resin. Therefore a longer lasting treatment was desired. An all-ceramic E-max crown was selected as the treatment option.
To optimize the color matching of the crown, two shade selections were carried out, one for the crown color before tooth preparation and one of the dentin coloration after the tooth was prepared using a water spray to maintain normal dentin coloration.
