Speakers:

Dr. Ching Sik Hong is a distinguished general dentist and Honorary Clinical Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Dentistry, TheUniversity of Hong Kong. With over 40 years of clinical experience, Dr. Ching has established himself as a leading expert in dentalimplantology and aesthetic dentistry.Dr. Ching graduated from the National Defense Medical Center in Taiwan in 1980 andcompleted his residency training in Oral Surgery, Periodontology, Prosthetic Dentistry, and Orthodontics at the Veteran GeneralHospital in Taipei. He has been in solo practice since 1984 and has served as the Director of the Aesthetic Dental Implant Center in Hong Kong since2004, where he provides advanced dental implantology services and residency training. Dr. Ching has been actively involved indental education, serving as a clinical tutor in the Master Program in Implant Dentistry at The University of Hong Kong. He haslectured extensively on dental implantology and has conducted hands-on courses in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and China, sharing hisknowledge and skills with dental professionals.Dr. Ching is known for his engaging presentations and practical workshops, focusing on:- Innovations in dental implant techniques- Aesthetic considerations in implant dentistry- Comprehensive approaches to patient management in implantologyDr. Ching Sik Hong is dedicated to enhancing the skills of dental professionals and improving patient outcomes through innovativeand evidence-based practices in implant dentistry.
Dr. Ching Yuen Lok Loretta is a distinguished dental surgeon with a robust academic and professional background in implantdentistry. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a Minor in Business from The University of Hong Kong, followedby a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the same institution. Dr. Ching further advanced her expertise by obtaining a Masterof Science in Dentistry on Implant Dentistry through an Advanced Education Program at Loma Linda University in California,USA. She received a Certificate in Implant Dentistry from the Academy of Osseointegration and achieved the prestigiousdesignation of Diplomate from both the American Board of Oral Implantology / Implant Dentistry and the Academy ofOsseointegration. She is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.Dr. Ching has been a key member of the Aesthetic Dental Implant Centre in Hong Kong for over 10 years. She has alsocontributed to the community as a locum dental surgeon for Project Concern Hong Kong and gained valuable internationalexperience in Taiwan and Tanzania. Additionally, she served as an Assistant Clinical Professor at Loma Linda University, whereshe taught both undergraduate and postgraduate students in general dentistry and implant dentistry.Her academic contributions have been recognized through various awards, including the Dental 85 Prize in Elective Studies andthe Reaching Out Award from the HKSAR Government Scholarship Fund, as well as a 3rd Place Poster Presentation Award at theAmerican Academy of Implant Dentistry's 65th Annual Conference. Dr. Ching’s master's thesis focused on "Peri-implant bone loss with connection of definitive abutment simultaneous with posteriorsingle implant placement: A 6-month retrospective study." She has published multiple research articles and presented herfindings at esteemed conferences, showcasing her commitment to advancing the field of implant dentistry. Her upcomingresearch will further contribute to the understanding of implant abutment dynamics.With a strong focus on clinical excellence and a passion for education, Dr. Ching continues to make significant strides in the fieldof implant dentistry, ensuring that she remains at the forefront of innovative practices and patient care.
