Dr Jivraj reviews the restorative considerations playing a role like tooth position, vertical restorative space, restoration contour and emergence design and appropriate tissue contact, in order to avoid common difficulties like food entrapment, cleaning and hygiene challenges or short, unesthetic teeth. Communication between restorative clinician and surgeon is important and can be supported with bone reduction guides, which indicate to the the surgeon where and how much to reduce vertical bone height.
