Dr. Ching Yuen Lok Loretta is a prominent dental surgeon with a main focus in implant dentistry in her daily practice. She holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from The University of Hong Kong, along with a Master of Science in Dentistry in Implant Dentistry from Loma Linda University, USA. Her qualifications include: Certificate in Implant Dentistry (Academy of Osseointegration)Diplomate (American Board of Oral Implantology)Fellow (American Academy of Implant Dentistry)Diplomate (Academy of Osseointegration)3rd Place Poster Presentation Award at the American Academy of Implant Dentistry's conference. She worked as an Assistant Clinical Professor at Loma Linda University before returning to full time practice at Aesthetic Dental Implant Center in Hong Kong. She is also currently serving as a Part-time Clinical Lecturer at The University of Hong Kong. She has lectured around Asia on topics regarding immediate implant placement and digital implant dentistry. Her master's thesis "Peri-implant bone loss with connection of definitive abutment simultaneous with posterior single implant placement: A 6-month retrospective study." addressed marginal bone changes around the implant-abutment connection, and she has published multiple research articles and presented her findings at esteemed conferences, showcasing her commitment to advancing the field of implant dentistry.
