Werner Zechner: Treatment concepts for edentulous patients over time

The lecture summarizes the development of implant-based treatment options for edentulous indications over time until the most up-to-date treatment techniques, like zygomatic implants, the All-on-4 technique, digital diagnostics and treatment planning and guided surgery procedures. Dr Zechner discusses the various treatment and prosthetic restoration options in light of the improvement of quality of life for the patient. Highlighting with a clinical video case presentation, Dr Zechner demonstrates the procedure and precision with digital diagnostic and guided surgery tools, and discusses, that these technologies can expand the indication for implant based treatment, also for patients which might be medically compromised.
