Treatment of Complex Partial Edentulism
A 69-year-old male patient presented with 3 healing caps and silk in the mandible. The patient had undergone two implant placements. Initial surgical implant placements in 2009 in the maxillary left resulted in no post-surgical pain. Second implant placements by a new dentist led to severe immediate post-surgical pain which prompted the patient to seek the second opinion.
